In our conversations with universities, admissions offices are expressing renewed optimism about Fall 2021 and a return to normal operations. Many factors are playing into this optimism, including promising vaccines and a year of experience in understanding how daily college interactions can be performed safely.
This is exciting news for high school students who have undoubtedly been watching the news and talking to older friends about how not-normal the college experience has been since the pandemic struck. Classes are just one component of the total college experience, and being on campus–engaged in activities–is a huge part of what makes college such a special and exciting time. We are just as excited about this return to campus as you are!
Students: now is the time to redouble your efforts and ensure you are on the right track with your college process. Premium Prep counselors specialize in helping students navigate this process. We’ve been keeping close tabs on the impacts of Covid on admissions criteria and priorities and are ready to guide students through what will remain, for the next several years, an unusual admissions landscape.
We have limited spots available for students in the class of 2022, 2023 and 2024. Though college applications may seem a ways away, there are important things high school students should be doing now. It’s the perfect time to connect with a college counselor.
The holiday season is always a great time to take stock and think about the future. Whether you are able to be together or not, this year is no different as an inflection point.
