Premium Prep is an elite college counseling firm seeking qualified candidates for the position of Part-Time College Counselor. This is a great opportunity for part-time employment or
supplemental income, with caseloads ranging anywhere from 7-15 students per graduating class. Counselors can be based anywhere in the country and enjoy a highly flexible work schedule. Pay is between $150 and $250 per hour, depending on experience.

Successful candidates must have experience as a college counselor in a high school setting.

Additional qualifications:
● A keen understanding of the complexities of today’s college admissions process
● Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working with both parents and students
● In-depth knowledge and a record of having visited colleges acrossthe country
● Strong writing and editing skills
● Comfort working with clients remotely
● The willingness to remain exceptionally responsive to client schedules and needs

Our counselors are expected to:
● Have availability to work with studentsin the afternoons, evenings, and/or occasional weekend day
● Be self-aware, confident individuals who are passionate about helping young people find their voices and chart their futures
● Have great instincts for managing client anxiety and stress, be able to work with a driven and often demanding clientele, and possess the acuity to head off problems before they arise
● Be of strong character, able to gracefully navigate complex family dynamics and maintain a strong code of ethics
● Be excited to work for a small company with flexible hours and individualized potential for personal and financial growth

Premium Prep is an elite college counseling firm seeking qualified candidates for the position of College Counselor. This position will support a cohort of 15 students per graduating class and hours per week will vary depending on the season. Counselors can be based anywhere in the country and enjoy a flexible work schedule. Salary is between $50,000-$62,000,
depending on experience.

Successful candidates must have extensive experience as a college counselor in a high school setting. Admissions experience is also a plus.

Premium Prep is an elite, rapidly-growing college counseling firm providing personal guidance to clients in the US and abroad. We seek highly qualified, motivated candidates for the position of Writing Specialist. These professionals work alongside our College Counselors, helping individual students with the nuts and bolts of their college essays—everything from brainstorming ideas to honing topics to polishing sentences.

Successful candidates must have the following:
● 3+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, and/or teaching; graduate degree (or comparable experience);
● Exceptional writing and editing skills and close attention to detail;
● Experience teaching writing at the high school or college level; an understanding of today’s selective college admissions process and the crucial role of college essays in that process;
● Ability to work with students remotely (Google Docs, etc.); excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with both students and parents;
● The willingness to remain highly responsive to client schedules and needs.

In addition to these qualifications, our Writing Specialists are expected to:
● Be self-aware, confident, highly organized individuals passionate about helping young people find their voices, tell their stories, and chart their futures;
● Be creative, energetic, and sensitive, with a love for inspiring students to think out of the box and push themselves to do their best work;
● Have great instincts for managing client anxiety and stress, the ability to deal with a driven and often demanding clientele, and the acuity to head off problems before they arise;
● Know their own strengths and weaknesses, possessing a high degree of professionalism, while also knowing when to reach out to others for input and advice;
● Be of strong character with a clear ethical code.

Hours are flexible, and Writing Specialists can be based anywhere in the country. Pay is between $75 and $100 per hour.
